  1. Cricket is funny & interesting game, one who once understand about cricket he will never give this game from his life.It is most interesting game not as "corporatization"A person can pass his hole life with this game.

  2. Any Sport can;t be corporatised as it is not a manufacturing activity or service providing kind of thing, it is exhibiting the talent with the free mind set, with out any influencing of the money, mind, law or any other things. a player or a sportsman should have a clear state of freedom to exhibit his / her talents.

  3. if u r referring to ipl, then NO. but i still love watching it, though.

  4. Sport is best played without money involved.

    But,

Lets face it, we live in a corporatised world. This has flowed onto the evolution of many sports today. Look at football in England. Comparing the work of Brett Lee and his capabilities and contribution to cricket, why shouldn't he be financially recognised as Wayne Rooney is in England? If financial recognition is not important to cricketers, look at the flock into IPL. Honestly, they didn't go there for some genuine butter chicken.

Ultimately, in my view, I don't really care about the possibility of international crickets being ripped from national duty for year-long ridiculously-paid competitions. Frankly, if corporatization of cricket can bring about fierce competitive cricket, then why should anyone object? Honestly, I live in Australia and I don't have pay TV, so the only cricket I see on free-to-air, is Australia against other countries. Therefore, competition is quite rare these days (except India's recent success against Australia). Nothing worse than a 5 day long test match with Australia practically sitting on their opponents for the whole time.

  5. Do we have a choice? That's not to say that I support corporate interference but we live in an age where mega bucks flow in and out easily. And then we also have the bookies who can also manipulate the outcome of a game and indeed of any player. Money is God.
