  1. The government has to stick it's nose where it doesn't belong. Drug wars give jobs to people finding the drugs. It's a sick and messed up system that leaves me speechless almost. Why is it illegal and how can the general public realize not to believe propoganda?

It's so frustrating it makes you want to pull out all your hair!

My favorite anti weed argument is "but it could be laced with something else!"

That is such a load of BS! What dealer is going to waste their drugs for free just to mess with someone or get them hooked? Anyone who buys weed would see that something looked different and probably wouldn't smoke it anyways!

Cocaine and heroin are the ones you gotta look out for as far as something being laced, and even then, it sounds like an urban myth to me. Although, I can think of a story I was told where this kid wanted to buy coke from this guy I knew and he gave him a bag of finely broken up chalk, and the guy did a line and said "wow! it tastes just like chalk! i am so high now!" haha. My friend said he never told him the difference and the kid never wanted to buy again.

I bet that in the now 20 something year olds generation and the one right after it, we will see weed laws change significantly. Too many people use it for it not to be eventually.

I gave up cigarettes for it so I don't damage my health! But what Bible beating person would believe that is a healthy change? None. And that is so sad.

  2. No. I don't support it. It is not the government's responsibility. All the government cares about is making money! Why do you think tobacco and alcohol are legal? The gov't taxes these products. Why do you think moonshine is illegal? Because the government isn't able to tax that alcohol, therefore they are making no money. The gov't knows they couldn't make nearly as much money as the drug dealers do because people already know how to produce marijuana, meth, crack, etc. on their own.

Plus, people make stupid choices every day, like cheating on a test or wearing clothes that are too tight for their fat bodies. Should those be regulated too? No of course not, because the government gets no gain out of it.

I think it's victimless. You're not "hurting" anybody but yourself, and once again, that's the user's choice NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S.

There are some things I'm liberal about and others that I'm conservative about. I'm in the grey area, I guess you could say.

    EDIT:

I forgot to add this. IF THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CONCERNED ABOUT PEOPLE'S SAFETY.... why are tobacco and alcohol legal, but marijuana? Hundreds of thousands of people die EACH YEAR from tobacco and alcohol, yet no one on the planet has EVER DIED from smoking marijuana! Maybe they got a little hungry, but that's about it!

  3. Strongly feel grass should be legal so parents could explain to their children-- Thats all it is and what all the big fuss is about, and not pusher saying see they lied about that. Here try this. Crack  would keep illegal. If you had license to take drugs would  allow the sale of everything. You would never need another doctors prescription to buy anything. You could not sell or give anything to anyone or drive overate heavy equipment while under the influence. liberal on some issues and very conservative on others.

  4. Interesting question.

I think it should be treated no differently than the drugs that are already legal...nicotine and alcohol.

    Liberal

  5. No, we've been though it before and realized it was a bad idea.  Drugs are bad, but so is smoking and alcohol.

    I'm conservative

  6. Chemicals have been used from the beginning of time laws are not going to change that. There are people out there that are goin to destroy themselves no matter what, and your not going to stop them.

    Liberal

  7. That's a hard one but I say look at the history of tobacco & alchohol because they are drugs too.  I'm often on the fence when it comes to politics, meaning a bit of both.
