  1. The corrupt and inept government of Mexico would have everything to gain.

I'm Canadian, and I don't like the idea.

  2. this is one of the most stupid ideas in my life time

  3. I support a united Canada and the United States. When Mexico stabilises its nation they can join Canada and the US, but not until then. Look at the European Union. They don't let just anyone in.

  4. Oppose it.

I like Americans, but I don't want to be one.

Any Canadian government that tried to do this would find themselves out of office immediately.

  5. I don't believe it, basically because there have been so many changes in upping security at the borders that it wouldn't be feasible to do so when discussions are in play to remove boarders all together.  Aside from that, the governments are entirely too different, especially with Mexico, to sustain such an idea. I would have to say that if this were the case, I would have to oppose it if for nothing else America can hardly take care of itself at this time, why drag two other less stable countries down with us..... or at least one, Canada is holding strong for the time being.

  6. The Mexican government is one big farce. Why are Mexicans constantly coming over the border to get work? Because their 3rd grade education level government is one big farce. I don't understand why our government can't give their government some basic easy (if that's possible) instructions on how to run a Country. No,No,NO.

    Canada yes, Mexico NO,NO,NO,NO,NO--------------------------...

  7. There is no agenda to have one government. Some people want a common currency, streamlined security measures, and better trade routes, but I don't think anyone is advocating north america becoming one country, under a single gov't. Not even behind closed doors. Lou Dobbs is definitely over-hyping it.

I would certainly oppose the idea of combining to form one north american country. And yes, Mexico would have everything to gain.
