Do you support socialized health care?

Do you support the idea of a tax increase, regardless of who it is increased for, to provide health care to every single American?

I personally do not. I don't think that people who don't work or who sit around and do drugs, and act like criminals, deserve to get free medical care at the expense of people who do work. At 24 years old, I have the ability to provide health care not only to myself, but to my family, and it is because I have worked hard and held a job. Why should I have to foot the bill for people who refuse to get a job? Compassion is giving someone a reason to better their situation, not a reason to continue digging the hole they find themselves inside.

  1. No, keep working and send all your money to Iraq, and start another war, keep digging that ditch, cuz you will never have enough money to pay for it.

  2. Yeah dude i feel your pretty annoying already. Id bet my life ur a republican and Yes i do belieave social health care because i just dont think about myself all the time.

  3. No.

    I oppose such blatant socialism.

If I should have to pay for someone's health, then there should be a universal living standard that everyone must follow.

I have no desire to pay for the bad health of an Obese fool whose exercises for the day consists of lifting Big Macs.

  4. No

I think you answered it very well

The only thing I would add is that if you got government out of the way

and illegal immigration was fixed "or better yet our laws were enforced", health care costs would drastically drop.

What a conflict of interest it would be to let the biggest monopolistic business in the world "our government" have control over our health and well being.

Look at social security for example, they force you to give them your money over your entire working life. They control the age you can get it out. When you die they keep your money. It does not go to a beneficiarry like say a 401k plan. It is in their best interest if you die right around the age you are ready to draw. Like I said conflict of interest.

  5. Oh sure, then we'll be like other countries with national healthcare.. You're sick? we can see you in 3 weeks... You need an operation?? The board will decide if you can have it, they meet again in a month.. People who can't pay for insurance already have coverage available.. it's called welfare and medicaid!!

  6. Headlines from the UK who has the mother of all socialized healthcare systems:
