Do you support the Iraq War or not?

I don't care about your position but please give facts to support it. Not hype and sound bites or web sites. Think in other words for yourself....

I don't support the reasons that we went to war in Iraq (actually, there weren't any verifiable reasons, just imaginary WMDs), but I'm not sure we should just pull up stakes and leave the Iraqi people with the mess.  Now that we're there, we should do what we can to stabilize the country IF WE HAVE A REASONABLE TIMELINE FOR WITHDRAWAL.  The Republicans seem to finally have woken up to this necessity.  If they had any integrity, they'd just come out and say that Obama was right all along.  

They have any $80 billion surplus and we borrowed a bunch of money from China to fight this war.  I wonder how rich all those war contractors are now?

Invasion of Iraq was a mistake and the US should have sorted Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistan is the biggest terrorist training ground in the world.

I didn't support going in, but now that were there pulling out would only s***w up what we've accomplished. So i'm all for staying now that were there.

I do not support the Iraq War, but I value the service of every man, woman, and child who is involved. The reason I do not support the war in Iraq (as opposed to the one in Afghanistan, which I do support), is that it was created by lies, by a specific and deliberate campaign by VP cheney's office to insert propaganda into the intelligence analysis chain (see http://www.motherjones.com/news/feature/... The Office of Special Plans inserted "Feith" intelligence, stripping it of all indica of reliability, which is equivalent to treason. When the lies were about to be exposed by Joe Wilson, they outed a Non-Official Cover agent of the CIA, an act which IS treason (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerie_Pla... The corruption at the heart of this administration has exposed numerous men and women honorably serving our country in the intelligence field to felony indictments and war crimes charges in the international court. All to evict a tyrant, a bad man, who had nothing to do with 9/11.

To use the deaths of Americans as a pretext for a false war of aggression is treason to the soul of America itself. If we do not excise this cancer it will kill our country.

I support our troops (my hubby) yes I support the cause. It keeps them off of US soil.
