Do you support the government aiding charities with the 211 phone number?

In some localities, there is a phone number, 211, that people call to help out or to get help. Should the government help the charities by providing funds for more operators and longer hours of service?

I think the government helping out charities that benefit the community is a great idea, especially if the charities can do it more efficiently than the government can (by using volunteers rather than civic employees, for instance.)

no  80% of these can get a job they make more money  on aid  then they can get on an average wage so why get off our *** when the tax payers will pay you more
