Do you suspect that the recent news about the uncontacted tribe a hoax?

I have no opinion either way. I remember when I was a child some people called the Tasaday tribe were discovered in the Phillippines (early 70's). Now many people say that was a hoax. ??? Makes me wonder.

The clothing of the tribe members in the CNN pictures looks bright, clean, and new.  Do they have dry cleaners in the Amazon basin?

I do believe this story.  While some of those that answered are under the impression that this was a lost tribe or an undiscovered tribe this is not the case. This tribe has been known to the outside world for for quite some time.  

What was remarkable about this event is that someone actually took some photographs.

It is remarkable to me to know that it is possible for any tribe to maintain no contact with the outside world in this day and age.

What would be the point of a hoax with this?  If someone is making money off of it, it's a hoax.  If not, no.

They are most likley people from Texas trying to raise their children out of site from CPS
