  1. I swing it like I would swing a long iron.  They are long iron replacements, so that is how you should swing them.

  2. Yep, you should swing them like an iron, not a fairway wood. There's an article on this in Golf Magazine this month.

  3. yes u do but most of the time the hybrids are slightly lighter so u might need to adjust ur swing because of the increasded swing speed

  4. Hmm....you can really do it either way, like a mid iron or like a wood. When I have used them I hit them more like a wood of the tee and like an iron (gently descending blow/small divot) from the fairway, but I don't play them on a regular basis because they go a little to high for me

  5. yes you do there just supposed to be easier to hit

  6. like your long irons except only adjustment is a slightly wider stance is important

  7. Yes ! Hybrids are played just the same way as your normal iron shots.

  8. Basically you swing the club the same no matter what club you're hitting.  The only adjustments are made in the ball position and set-up.  If you're thinking different swing with irons than woods you're in trouble already. Just experiment with ball position.  Hybrids can really be hit like irons or woods depending on your lie.

  9. Yes you are suposed to swin them the same as all your other irons; however, I tried them and just couldn't do it. Every time I would try and swing it like my woods no matter how hard I tried. I did't like them at all but alot of people say they wouldn't ever go back to regular irons. For me I sold mine and went back to my regular 3 and 4 irons.
