Do you take offense when someone tells you DUH!!!?

Question

what does it mean to you when you are talking to someone and they say "duh" to something you say?

is it like come on are you that stupid ?

or its so obvious?

i never really thought about it before until my two freinds were talking

one told the other duh

then 5 minutes later the other was like " why'd you tell me duh"......................

i know what you mean i use to trip out on it too but it just means like ya its obvious dont take it personal some people like that using that stupid phrase.
