Do you take one driving lesson with the instructor and then practice with your parents or do you?

get all your lessons done with the instructor and then practice with your parents.

my dad is saying that he won't let me practice at all with him until i finish the 6 hours with the instructor.

Isn't it best to practice driving with my parents in between my lessons?

Probably best to drive with parents whenever possible to get more experience. I hardly did any driving with my parents though as they were to busy.

once your instructor gives you your permit you should be able to drive with a 18 year old driver
