Do you take the driving test the same day you take the written part when your going to get your liscence?

In Texas you do. When you come in and take the written if you pass you can take the driving test the same day. No waiting around in Texas....Hopefully wherever you are is the same way.

no i believe they make you wait at least 48 hours at least they do in my state

They always make sure that you can spell "license" before the road test.

You will have to pass the written exam before the road test and if they have time they can get you in the same day. Otherwise they will schedule a day for you to come in for the road test.
