Do you tend to tip more during the holiday season?

If you receive good service at a restaurant during the holidays would you be more likely to tip a little more than you would normally?

only if it is a business where I am a regular customer and they actually know me..  like when my dog get her pre-holiday grooming next week I will probably be more generous with the tip..

Yes, generally I will tip more around Christmas. For example I just got my hair cut the other day and tipped the girl twice what I nornally would.

Yes. When I go out to dinner, I tip $10-$15. When I get a nail fill, I tip $10-$15 dollars. So I usually tip like $5-$10 & go up by like $5. <3

this is sad some of the comments the cheap people are leaving, if you dont have enough to tip 20 percent( 18 is a good tip for the lady who think 15 percent is a good tip, its not) then dont go out to eat. We make our work hard to keep you happy and make our money. and for the cheap ones who say no not on holidays, or i dont tip much i hope u have to work in a restaurant on christmas or thanksgiving so you can see what its like to serve people like u. but for those who said yes and were nice about it, bravo, u know correct server ettiquette. and lastly, if your a foreigner dont pretend u dont tip overseas so it applies here. It doesnt, we dont make a flat rate, we only make tips!!! so stop pulling this i dont know c**p and talking in a different language becuase we know were screwed the moment u sit down!

im always a good tipper. both my wife and i started out in food service and its not a fun job. and yes i do tip better around christmas, i try to give a little somthing to every one this time of year.
