"I kissed a girl and I liked it"
you all know it right? you've all heard it 50 billion times.
Is the song an attention seek or is a good thing for the g**s and lesbians out there that the mainstream community has embraced the song?
In my opinion:
If the song was about a heterosexual kiss no one would care.
If a man sang "i kissed a boy and i liked it" i doubt it would be an international hit.
But because girls kissing girls is the latest craze, it's huge. a huge gimmick.
It bugs me because she's trying to sound s**y, but then she has to let us know she's got a boyfriend, it's basically saying "i kissed a girl... but i'm not a L*****n, i insist." because would the song be as ok if she was?
just interested in your thoughts. I may be completely wrong, feel free to let me know. Because all my L*****n friends seem to love it when that song comes on.
yahoo suggested i categorise this in wrestling. i'm intrigued...
