Do you thinik their should be at least 3 / free train rides in perth city per day .?

our train line has been noted and researched as the most violent line in western australia perth, and i think part of the solution is to put free train rides to accomodate these people so that they would not bother everyone else who are riding at work peak times, as obviousley the people mostly causing trouble at the trains and passengers are those evading paying for their rides,.

You could try the same idea with people wanted on arrest warrants. Send them a free ticket, valid only from Armadale to Perth at a set time and day. Then they could all be picked up as they arrive.

You get a reduced rate if you have a concession (health care or pension) card. You can get a day multi rider for around $6.50 a day and that allows you to catch any bus or train all day at that cost, provided you keep the ticket all day

One could argue that there is an element born into a criminal class which are quite wiley at stealing stuff and stand over tactics. They live by violence and intimidation, which will never change. It's better to ban them from ever being near a populated area let alone let them near the means to deliver their evil upon the innocent.

However free public transport has merit and might ameliorate the violence on train lines for another reason. More people using the trains outnumbering the thugs might be a bigger deterrent to violent behaviour.
