  1. Both of them should be banned from playing cricket for India and for any team in Inida.  They are both pathetic excuses for cricketers.

  2. well I really don't agree with 11 matches Ban. It should have been 6 moths to a year. and that is a very Lame excuse that he gets Angry easily because hes a Punjabi,

  3. What the provocateur did to his own team member and should such a player be in the team to begin with.

Victimising the victim further and ignoring the provocateur is a perfect law suit for injustice and multimillion dollar law suit also against the people making irresponsible, racial and other defamation remarks against a player of international stature.

Be brave and send a copy of the question for the most correct answer and for best use of question answer sheet to the team of attorneys of Harbhajan and or to Harbhajan!

    Good luck!

  4. One got punished for his actions and the other just walk away with a warning. When ever some thing like happens, it is always two sides.both sides at fault.Even a kid can understands why Bhajji slapped Sahreenath. why not some other Punjab player. That means there was some thing going on between them. As we all knows that Shreenath is not a Saint. He is a trouble maker kid.

So this ban is not justified. Shreenath should be banned at least 5 games too.

  5. i feel this is not enough

HE MUST BE BANNED FROM INTERNATIONAL MATCHES AS WELL ,BOTH TEST AND ONEDAY.

How can he slap a co teammate(india).

This is a shame to the nation who born and brought up him.

he literally insulted mother india and for that he should be punished severely!

Being an indian he must keep up his cool with everyone.

but he did not. India is supposed to be a peace loving country and follows ahimsa. If he behaves so rude with an

    Indian itself

WHAT ABOUT OTHER PLAYERS BELONGING TO OTHER NATIONS.BEING a captain of mumbai if some player had dispute with him (not physically)irrespective of nation to which he belong bhajji may slap!!!

this is a sensitive issue ,and must  taken care by BCCI.

  6. Okay Boys & Girls;

First - The 2008 IPL is new drama in the cricket history. Think as a part of the serial and do not know where they are going.

Second – The 2008 IPL are specifically designed and orchestra such way so that owner make money or take some right off (Taxation) in their income. Such as all the bollywood celebrities, all the capital vultures (ooops ….. I mean CV – Capital Ventures like Ambani etc). These people are the real puppet masters and they are biggest lobbyist in politics within ICC and BCCI. Governing bodies are also very greedy and some of the individual are now multi-millions. So only people get hurts are younglings’ cricketers. (Watch out Virat Kohli, Ajay Jadeja, Piyush Chawala ….)

Third - whether you ban Bhaji, Shrisanth, Symonds, Akhtar, etc for 5 years or life time, it does not matter. These vultures can always find another Bhaji, Symonds etc with the lure of money ($$$$)

Fourth - It all comes down to us as a general public, who like to see these kind of altercations, and media make sure they published these kind of nonsense very first.

Final – For IPL or any contest in the world, as long as people have money to see and can afford to watch these kinds of fun and entertainment, (well … I am one of them), and then these vultures can deliver very exciting and thrilled entertainment.

So long live ________. Fill in the blank. (Vultures OR Cricket)

  7. JUST 11 matches ban on Harbhajan Singh is not justified. He should be punished more than that.

  8. yea i think it is justified, also he has to pay a whopping fine of 2.65 crores..thats more than sufficient i guess

  9. Absolutely, especially after the row he caused in Australia and knew how the whole country vouched for him even tho they knew he wasnt exactly doodh ka dhula.  We have/ had sportsmen in cricket like Gavaskar, Kapil, Tendulkar and Kumble who enhanced the game with their behaviour, command respect and bring dignity to the country.  He should have taken lessons fm them.  He has been here long enough. There should be no place for guys who slap fellow players, in full public view and in front of live TV at that.  We dont know what exactly provoked him, but slapping Sree was no way to deal with it.

  10. It's about time. He just keeps getting away with things. Although I haven't seen the tapes I read somewhere that one of the people who got to see it said that he was lucky to get off so lightly. The fact that the coach got fined because he watched and didnt restrain Harbhajan says alot. RESTRAIN that is a powerful word. If it was just a slap there was no way the coach could have restrained him. ????

Harbhajan has been let off to many times for my liking. He thinks he can get away with anything.

I dont like that people r saying that its Sreesanth's fault for crying. That is not far.   He just got slapped by someone who he probably held very highly, someone he looked upto and a friend.

I think it has also ruined his self confidence because in interviews he has been saying that he (Harbhajan) has the right to do what ever. NOT RIGHT! From what i've read he also feels quilty. IT'S NOT UR FAULT SREE!!!!!

  11. no need to punished.its lesgue matches.he is our bhajji.

who is going to bowl if he punish

and he is sardar means he should angry.

both sreeshanth and harbhajan are same

    no need to punish any1

    just warning

  12. That the second time he did something like that. It probably to exaggerated and sreehanth didn't need to cry. Bhaji is Punjabi and get mad easily sreesanth would of tookin it so hard. Plus 2-4 games would be alright but since he didn't learn is lesson last time it debate-able.

  13. No

    it should be more

  14. Yes, it is also a punishment for the "monkey" incident!!

Though there was no appropriate evidence in that case, THERE IS NO SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE!!!

Same applied in this case, even Sreesanth is not completely innocent so he too should hav got atleast 1 match ban!!

IT IS SO SHAMEFUL THAT SUCH KINDS OF INCIDENTS ARE TAKING PLACE WHICH WILL ALLOW OPPONENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF!!!

  15. Yeah it was a fair decision.Knowing his past records he knew it was around the corner. He should have been suspended when he was touring Australia.I want Indian team to be competetive and yet be humble.Isn't that our culture. Why try to fake others????

  16. Yes it is more than justified..There was no need for that BULLY to slap sreesanth...

If he had been abused in any way then MAYBE but the kid did nothing at all..he is a disgrace and i hope he cops it big when he has to answer to the BCCI too,he thinks BCCI are going to save his butt each and every time.well maybe when they were here in Aus they protected him,but not now...

What goes around comes around..I am pretty sure if Andrew Symonds had of slapped Barge *** when he was here ,all you would be calling for his imediate sacking....

  17. I wouldn't even mind had he got a life-long ban and his cricketing career got over !!

There should be ABSOLUTELY no excuse for being physically abusive with ANYONE, on or off the field, unless it is for defense on a physical assault on urself!!

Cricket has strict adherence for verbal abuses, and violence (slapping) while on field should be no less than inexcusable!

It don't matter how good a player Bhajji is, that doesn't justify the kind of attitude he portrays. The guy should be just banned for good....period!

  18. No.

Both must be banned for 11 Matches.

Both are well know for dramas on the field which make India Image down...

  19. Should have been 12 months from all cricket

  20. to less

  21. He got away with very light punishment - and there should be

more to come from BCCI - only if they stand by what they

have warned about. Otherwise it is a failure of administration

and officials for just warning and not implementing strict rules

    on player behaviors.

IMHO, he should have been given no less than 1 year and

add  more on him to prove that he has taken anger

management classes and can prove he is clean and will be clean. Further more, a second chance can be given and that

would be the last before a life ban is compelled.

Even in today's match we saw Kallis and Ghambir going out

at each other....how far do you want this to continue....young

kids watching this behavior will repeat these and the entire

culture would have changed....hence it is very important for

the officials to take this very seriously and ban such players

    for repeat offenses.

  22. It should have happened long ago. Where were you all when he racially abused Symonds? That was OK but this isn't? I think Sreesanth needs to be sent back to the nursery, if he's going to cry like a baby everytime he is insulted.

  23. Maybe 11 matches isnt justified for the slap but he deserves more than an 11 match suspension simply for being a wanker.

  24. i think that Harbhajan Singh has been heading for trouble for a while now it started in Australia no one can say this guy is innocent what ever his motives may be in Australia he was defended because most people thought Australia sledge the indians were sledging back but he and Sreeshanth are ridicuous as a South African supporter over the past few years ive seen Sreeshanth act like an idiot when he came to South Africa and in Indian he verbally acted Ab de villiers for no reason  then he said oh we all know what happened in chennai meaning that when you get de villiers worked up he gives you his wicket it was just stupid and nothing happened to him whenever an empire questions him he acts so innocent like it was the opposition player who was abusing him he is annoying and and acts like an idiot on the field as for Harbhajan he crossed the line in the final test in Kanpur when he first had words with ashwell prince then put his hand on his shoulder which upset prince who pushed his hands away i think these players are setting a bad example of india cricket and where it is going its great to have so much passion and drive in playing for your team but you also need to control  your emotions i think these two players cant and take things to far in trying to make something happen for the teams they are playing for do i think the ban is justified yes but i think Sreeshanth should have got the same or at least someone should sent him to a class for anger management because obviously the yoga he said he was doing to control his emotions doesnt work
