If you have ever done it, was there anyone with you (or were you) 24 or older?? I'm considering doing it next summer and i would be a month shy of 25.

  1. no i'm older than that and i still love to study broads.

  2. No.

Any one can study any thing at any age, as specially in USA.

You may have 17 to 21 years old (average student graduating from high schoo is 19 years of age inUSA) so what, main reason for you to be there is to study , and some socialising if time permits, but mainly studying.

You just will not have time for any thing but studying, any way. If you are out of touch with studies then you will need to compete with the young people who are very good at studying, as they are in the habit of studying , and they know the system very well(how to study for tests ,---,--).

This is my personal experience, click on my profile (click on high lighted "minootoo").

    .

  3. No way!  You are never too young to experience life.  This is a chance of a lifetime.  Enjoy!

  4. Go for it. Why are you worried about the 17-21 year olds? It's not as if they're going to shun you because you're a bit older!

  5. Not too old at all!  Actually, you're mature enough to actually get something out of the experience!

  6. No. Think about it.. while you're their people won't consider you as some "kid" whose just in a different country to mess around. also, for most people, going at age 24 would make it easier in terms of a better financial status...

  7. No.  I went on a summer study abroad trip last year, and there were a lot of people older than 24.  In fact, there were a couple people in their 30s, some in their 40s, and about three in their 50s.  I don't think that's normal for there to be so many older people, but my boyfriend studied abroad this summer with a different program through a different school, and he is 24, and I know there were people older than him, and even one lady in her 50s.

You should go.  It is awesome, and you might not ever get a chance to do this again.

  8. I don't think so. My cousin is 25 and she is over in Paris studying abroad. I would say go for it because it's a great experiance that not many get to do.

  9. no! i meet a man once in France that decided he would study cooking in france before he died. he was 62. He said there is no such thing as too old, and no reason to wait to start living life.

    good luck!
