I am socially much more liberal than she is but like her.  I love the fact that she stands her ground and has fought the corruption within her own party, managing to come out the winner!  To me, her personal beliefs aren't of importance but her strength in leadership is.  

To me, she represents change and right now that's what we need.  No more old Washington insiders, like Biden, need apply.

Yes she is independent and strong and i respect her for that, BUT if McCain died do you believe she could run the country or be good at it. Plus, all she is ,in some sense, is McCains poker card. I see your black man and raise you a white woman.

No, she makes women look bad because of her ethics violation (abuse of power), she doesn't say what she will do of how she's qualified during her acceptance speech but was just a cheerleader for McCain, and she tries to hard to look like the housewife and mother (anyone can be a parent--and you don't even have to be a good one) when people are looking for the best vice president.  At least Hillary didn't do that!  I'm sure there were a lot better choices out there than Palin (more credibility and more experience--and no ethics scandal).
