  1. no I don't. Carl didn't do anything wrong, Kyle did.

  2. No, I don't think they deserved equal penalties, but on paper, under the rule, they do... By the law, they did the same thing and it's hard to argue against that. I am glad that NASCAR is promoting the idea of "Boys will be boys."

  3. Yes. They were both guilty of the same violation. Carl had the option of letting NASCAR take care of Kyle but he chose to take in his own hands and retaliated.

Sure he was provoked but it doesn't matter in NASCAR. A crime is a crime. FAIR CALL.

  4. carl should b punished kyle just returned what carl gave him earlier then carl got him twice kyle tried to get 2 but officoials called him in

  5. If NASCAR was going to rule against one, then I'm glad they ruled against both but I'm like Maggie: they should have left it alone.

  6. Kyle gets by with everything, as everybody knows, Nascar brown noses him all the time.

Carl deserves no punishment. Kyle started it, but can't take it like a real man.  Nascar needs to get rid of him until he grows up and starts to act like a real man.  I have mailed JGR a package of assorted baby items to use when Kyle starts whining over every little thing that happens to him.

I am not really a Carl fan.

I can tell you I can't stand the site of Kyle (whiny baby) and get sick everytime they show him on TV.

  7. Seems logical. I guess, maybe, sure, why not. Sure wasn't consistant with the past judgements.

Guess this means they can't be pushin and banging into anyone for 6 weeks...  Thats gonna be tough. Who's gonna get busted first?

  8. Yes.  Busch was wrong, but Edwards could have just rolled to Victory Lane instead of hitting back.  Plus if only Busch was penalized, a lot of fans would have been upset.

  9. the drivers are on probation?

if so yes they do deserve it

  10. I think they did. It takes two to tango.

  11. They both should have been given bonus checks for making the show a little more exciting!

  12. NASCAR just kills me.  They start the year with this whole wanting the drivers to express themselves, wanting them to show more emotion.

What do they expect after a race where both drivers are po'd at each other? What should they should send an angry email?  Oh I know they could send in counselors and help them talk threw their anger.  Puke.

I sure miss the old days. That is the biggest gripe I have with NASCAR.  Let boys be boys just as long as no one gets hurt of course.  But they are human with feelings and emotions, for crying out loud just let 'em go!

    >>OOps, got a little carried away.  My answer to the question is NO.  Neither deserved probation, heck neither of them deserved anything.

  13. Absolutely not - What Carl did was exactly what he should have done to win the race (Kyle would have done it too)  The thing at the end was just Kyle being a sore-loser - and frankly, Carl won some respect from me that night by standing up to the cry-baby.

  14. Yes they deserve to be treated equally because they were both equal perpetrators in the situation.

However, they did not deserve probation; what are we in school now? That is just utterly ridiculous.  They should of just had a talking to and that is it and maybe had to stand in a 'time out' corner for a little.

  15. Yes they should lose 500 points and not be allowed to race in the next 2 races

  16. YES I DO. Both were equally involved....Busch for starting it and Carl for finishing it....both should be penalized equally.

  17. thats what they got

  18. If nothing would have happened it would've brought up the NASCAR playing favorites with busch and edwards...... Because at the beginning of the year they penalized smoke and kurt busch for the same thing so it was fair, and it was fair that both got it because edwards did hit him back..... though i don't remember busch and montoya getting penalized for them hitting each other earlier in the year

  19. I would rather they had been equally left alone.   But an equal slap on the wrist is fine as well.

  20. I honestly don't think either of them deserved Probation.

  21. no one should have been put on suspensoin, that takes the fun out of the rivalry when they are afraid of losing the chase on penalties...

  22. i don't think they should have received the same penalty. if kyle had hit him just once i would have said okay, but after the second contact i'm not sure he would have stopped if carl hadn't hit him.
