  1. definitely

there should also be a $1000 dollar prize for stupidest question of the week on this website

  2. That's stupid

  3. DEFENTLY!!

Its an easy gold for australia!!

  4. Now I like to see that. The Aussies will win Gold every time. Time will tell Dan, but not in my life time.

  5. Yea i agree! it should fit in well in the special olympics

  6. It should just because Australia will be the only country who will be able to win gold (hopefully, but who knows, China are dominating!).

But not really because no one else understands the sport.

Just some sports that shouldn't be in the Olympics:

    *BMX riding

    *Tennis

    *Syncronised swimming

    just to name a few.

  7. yeah it should its one gold medal we could actually win

  8. No.

A similar question to this was asked the other day in the Olympic section - by an American asking if the American football code should be included in the olympics. It rightly received a negative vote - by many Australians.

The same applies here - no way could it be included.

If it was, Japan could request sumo wrestling be included; the Irish would want Gaelic football included; the Finns could argue for dog sledding; blah blah blah.....

  9. **I'd rather keep it to ourselves.  The last thing I'd want to see is all different countries playing it against Australia.**

  10. Good question . The problem is . Why would nt they allow it as a demostration in the Sydney 2000, games. I heard that some wanted Ruby (league / Union) to be it . It was fitting that the Grand Final was being played about the same time. I think it should nt be in the games, only because other countries would want their sport to play also .( I see they want softball out . but I think this should stay , as many countries already play it .( Any sport to be played should have international backing.

  11. How can it be, no other country knows how to play properly!

It would be good in a way though, at least we would be the champions of one event :)

  12. No. One of the things I love about Aussie Rules footy is that it's ours. Stuff everyone else. They can have soccer. Personally I'm surprised that rugby isn't an olympic sport.

  13. What a stupid question

  14. It would be awesome, to show the rest of the world! but no, because then other country's would also want their game eg. american would want their football, just like we would want ours! it just doesn't work.

  15. Yer.. And Australia will be winning Gold, Silver & Bronze.. I dont think the Olympics would sink to that level.. It should be kept hidden away in our country so it doesnt embarrass Australia with other countries knowing what a g*y sport some weirdos play in this beautiful one of a kind country. It will never happen.. Great joke though!

  16. Aussie will dominate in it!!

I wish lol. but i dont think it will happen coz the olympics are at the same time as our AFL and also no other countries have this competition.

  17. OMG!!! Bro yeah it should be added.

PS: Why do you have a photo of Ms Ploumatos on there? Are you seriously in love. lol.

  18. great question. it's a very interesting one, i think if the people in charge want aussie rules to become an olympic event, they would need to start planning for it asap and then give it about 20 years before it is actually put in the olympics. the reason for this (and i know it'd probably mean a lot of us would unfortunately never see it) is because the sport firstly needs to develop in other countries to a point where they have enough players who will be competitive enough to compete against a country like australia who has been playing the game for 150 years.

i would love for this to happen as it would allow the best athletes in the world to play what is in my opinion, the best game in the world. imagine what a spectacle it would be to see the athletes of countries such as jamaica, fiji, china etc. etc. taking the game to new levels. it definitely is a mouth-watering prospect but it would need to be acted upon in the very near future.

    all the best! :)

  19. My word it should, it is our national game and has been embraced inSydney and Brisbane, it has overtaken cricket as this countries No.1 sport, put it in I say

  20. Thanks for the laugh

  21. Yeh cause then we will start winning everything =] lol haha!

but its our national sport and some people would like to keep it to ourselves! Lol
