  1. mett office and other media cant get it right for the day.

  2. No and no.

The worlds weather systems are subject to "The Butterfly effect" and can be effected by way too many factors.

One can say that in the northern hemisphere it will be cold in Winter and warm in the summer and that there will be hurricanes in the Caribbean in the Autumn, but anything beyond that is speculation.

Even natural predictors aren't always good. A few years back there was an unprecedented migration of birds (I was in Milan and I saw them going over there; the flocks were enormous), and all the "experts" said that this meant that the winter would br very severe.

    It wasn't.

  3. Nope.

  4. Nope, but I like the SUN!

  5. That's crazy-talk.

  6. no i dont think so its hard enough to get the weather right now

  7. pssht, most weather forecasters don't even get right of what's gonna happen tomorrow. Bad luck, I don't think it'll be accurate even if they do manage to predict the weather for 6 months ahead

  8. Nope

  9. Yes I can, rain with some sunny spells.

    1. you never said where

    2. where I live it's like that most days

  10. I believe it is possible to predict the weather 3 days ahead of time with reasonable accuracy due to the way in which the weather fronts move around the earth.  Beyond three days, it is impossible.

  11. they can't even get it right for 24hrs 6 months your having a laugh.

if you were as bad at your job as they are at predicting the weather you would be sacked.

    there are a joke

  12. No it cannot be done accurately. Weather depends on a large number of factors, in the UK the Jet stream, the Gulf stream and the Azores High play a significant role. El Ninio also affects all the world's weather.

What can be guessed at is the historical weather conditions, but as these are unpredictably cyclical there are more questions than answers.

In the UK it depends especially on the direction of the wind and the season of the year.

East winds in summer are warm but freezing in winter. West winds are wet.

The Azores High pushes warmer weather towards the UK
