  1. above - whooped our butts LOL

No we wont, USA would know what would happen, the fanatstic British Army would walk all over them

  2. Last time we went to war they got their capital burned to the ground so they know better than to pick a fight with the UK. They class the war of 1812 as a victory which is perplexing considering they ended it with less territory than they had at the start.

  3. The Revolutionary War and War of 1812 were against the British on our own soil. Those are the 2 wars RAPTOR speaks of. Learn your history. We fought to have our own country independant of the British. My ancestors fought in both of those wars.

Even though a majority of the first inhabitants of the New World (now called America) were from Great Britain and it's proximity, we went to war with our brothers to have independance from the King.

  4. They've been there, done that.

  5. Against one another? No.  I think history shows we're fast allies and overall pretty good partners.  I don't think it will matter which party here in the US wins in November, either will improve relations over how Bush has made things.

  6. Raptor you must be THICK in the War Of 1812  the US Army invaded Canada (which was then British North America) and they were totally demortalised. The point of the War was for the US to take Canada? was this acheived no it wasn't and you had your White House burnt to ashes by the British Army as well.

    EDIT:

I met some US soldiers when I was in Kuwait  "Too Fat,Too Slow and Too Ugly" comes to mind. they were a bit q***r as well.

  7. I don't think so but...never say never.

    EDIT:

RAPTOR, can we really blame them for their masochism?

  8. No.

  9. we are not at war now but they still bomb the british troops

  10. I don't see any reason why that would happen.  Even after the American Revolution we both immediately got together to stab the French in the back.  the closest we've come to a war since the War of 1812 (Napoleonic Wars in England) was in the 1920's before the naval treaty.  Our countries seemingly always get along, and when Blair was in power we both had over-religious people running our country...sorry I don't know who the current PM is or their views, I could look it up though.

Regardless, I hope not, I've traveled all around England and love the country.

  11. We have already done it.

  12. Well In My Point Of View It Can Happen Because Of Their Government.US always Discriminates The Monarchy Especially Of Uk.These Countries Are Also Traditional Rivals. So It Can Happen In The Near Future

  13. who can say, although the UK is more likely to side with america at the moment, in the future China will be the dominant superpower, we have links with them too in Hong Kong.

  14. I think it is highly unlikely at the moment.  However, the way the UK is going, the predominant religion will change eventually and circumstances will mean that it is possible.

  15. America is smart enough to know not to **** with the brits.....

Together the EU would whoop those beastly yanks any day of the week... so i say bring it on!

  16. No, but their relationship could turn sour if UK switches to the Euro.

  17. No, but I do not think the senate will try and make  a scape goat of one of our politicians again

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrdFFCnYt...

(George Galloway Pwns the senate and then chases their sorry cardboard cut out as$es around the town with a wet towel)

  18. QUIT BEING STUPID AND BORING.

  19. No we have too much in common with the yanks they are our life rescuers. for any wars.

  20. We already whooped your butts twice. You don't want none of this.

<edit> So . . . you're saying you want another whooping in the future?

Some people are just gluttons for punishment :P

<edit> King George only has about 5 months left in office. Better hope McCain doesn't win. Not only does he KNOW how to fight a war, but if father time finally catches up with his geriatric @$$, and he dies in office, Palin takes over . . . and she's batshit insane. Then you're really screwed. Do you really want a crazy fundie with her finger on the button when her "aunt flow" comes for her monthly visit?

    Think about it.

<edit> Nah. Stick with the English angle. It 's not without it's charm, and it works with you. I'm just saying . . . we're good at blowing sh*t up, that's all. You'd probably kick our butts during the occupation, though :P

lol. It's amazing how many thumbs down you can get for being a smartass. It's also a great example of how many of you need to unbind your panties. You people really think I'm being serious?

  21. We already did, remember?

I doubt we ever will again, there's something vaguely threatening about an enemy who has enough bombs to literally put a several hundred pound bomb on every square inch of your country.

  22. ...no.

  23. didn't they get enough of it during the independece war?lol  No, i don't think so, perhaps USA vs European Union somewhere in the far future, this if the ruskies or the chinese don't start a nuclear war before..

  24. I highly doubt it.

Some things need to get cleared up here:

    1. You only won The War Of Independence because the French came to help you out.

    2. The War Of 1812, although it was a defeat for us, we did burn down the White House (I will admit I know almost nothing of this war).

  25. Depends on the needs of oil for the  U S

  26. No. They will decline slowly together, Uncle Sam and Britannia, like an old married couple, as the centre of economic world power drifts eastwards toward China and the sub-continent of India and will both eventually be eclipsed by newer more vibrant nations.

  27. no.

  28. We were remember (1775), as for future events, that all depends on government paradigms

  29. Why is this in religion and spirituality?

  30. Yes and take it from me both countries have contingency plans for just such an event.

  31. I think it would be very hard.  A large change in culture and politics would need to take place.  You guys did take Madonna off our hands, which we thank you for.  But if you give us a couple more bands like the Spice Girls, tensions could come back.

Edit: In all honesty, RAPTOR is a perfect example of why the US could destroy the UK.  Although he is the perfect example of why the US could destroy the US.
