I recieved this email from my Step Mom, do you think it will happen?

Red Fridays.

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority." We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that .... every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something red. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.

  4. Every one in my office does every friday

  5. Just more email spam...

  6. Wearing a color doesn't help our troops any more than those yellow support ribbons. If you want to show your support....vote...send care packages....better yet JOIN them...They need all the help they can get. Also, I don't think God would appreciate a wardrobe change...from what I have read acts of charity and kindness might win you some points.

As far as whether or not red Fridays will happen...sheep will wear whatever other sheep are wearing. !

  7. I have a red, white and blue scarf I wear on Fridays already!

God Bless America, God Bless our Troops!!

  8. only if you get the word out

people wont do it  IF  they don't know about it !!

if it's Not on the news or in the papers - then No

  9. Take the money you would have spent on some red garment and donate it to the USO, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, the Army Emergency Relief or the Air Force Aid Society. That's a tangible way of supporting the troops without making it look like some high school prep rally.

  10. I've never heard of this.

But what if I support the troops, but don't believe in god?

  11. i hadn't heard about this but you can bet i'll be wearing red on fridays from now on.  thanks for sharing!
