  1. What? Sporatic trips to number 1, and three grand slams? Yes.

Tennis' glamor girl?  Not in this life time.

  2. Nope!

Not on da court coz she chokes while playin as a top ranked. Jus look at her performance at da US open. She will definitely win more slams...........but all will b at Roland Garros coz no gud clay specialist has arrived after Henin.

Not off da court coz der is somethin she lacks which Maria has! I dunno wat is it but she is not a endorsing material like Sharapova

  3. well she's got the potential..maria is her since long i mean she's got maturity n experience...one shud also be physiclly fit..i think maria is better..!! for..ana wud take time..she's strong though...just see the size of her arms..lolz..but if she puts in more effort..she can do it..!!

  4. Yea I think so, she has to work harder and stop getting in so many photo shoots, even if everyone likes them. She will become really good and get lots of commercials and what not.

  5. She can if she wants too, but she has to train harder, especially that forehand.

  6. No to both because there is something that Maria has which I think is essential for success.

    1. ON THE COURT- (Determination and mental strength)

You might say that Ana has a terrific 3 set record but when it comes to the big ones she folds.

Example: The AO 2008 final, the RG 2007 final.

On both occasions she went up against determined and mentally strong players unlike in RG 2008 where Safina isn't really strong mentally.

    2. OFF THE COURT- (Fluent English)

    Maria's English is flawless and Ana's... :-P

Majority of Maria's endorsements are of American companies and centered on the American public.

Ana is not selling material, she has the looks but she's not convincing enough. She comes across as trying too hard and fake to me.

  7. with the early exit at the US Open, I think not!

  8. She still has to do a lot of training. She has the Capacity to achieve what sharapova has achieved.

  9. I think it'll take lots of time and hard work for Ana! She's still TRYING to find her strong game.. Look at the US Open exit for example? On court, Maria played way better than Ana's currently playing. Ana's got the potential - she just needs to USE it! She has time, since Safina's (the rightful world number one right now) and the William sisters won;t take her spot anytime soon. Off the court, hahahahahah with Maria STILL being the "most photographed female tennis player", do you really think Ana will match up to her? In other terms Ana's doing well considering all the charity work.

  10. its up to how determined she is.
