Now that he has a ten year contract, what is to keep him from playing like this for the next nine years?

  1. I think this article is right.  Too much sun has baked his brain.

  2. YES!

LMFAO? Playing like what? I love how people think he is God. Look at his stats, they look good to me. And although his Average w/ RISP is not great he is still getting on base with his solid OBP. I hope you are a Yankees fan because then that would explain it. I mean he's missed 21 games this year, give him a break.

  3. h**l no, he is having a terrible season compared to last year, I do think that he will do better next season because he is A-Rod

  4. He's having a down year. I doubt this is a sign of decline, though. He's 32 years old. I wouldn't mark this as a sign of him saying he's "comfortable."

As for "earning his keep": What do you mean? A lot of players make far too much money as it is. If a team is willing to pay it, then he's earned that money.

  5. Last year he was playing for a contract, this year he is not.  For him, it's not about baseball, it's all about the Benjamins.

  6. he has NEVER earned his keep, he is a big crybaby.
