  1. I've listened to Howard since 1984.  I missed yesterday's show, but heard it on SFN this morning.  Artie is just TOO NICE and does TOO MUCH for TOO MANY people.  He never thinks of himself.  He never takes care of himself.  I feel so sorry for him.  He loves Howard, he loves the show, he knows it's a dream come true, but he just CAN'T get it together.  He hinted yesterday that he got jipped on ANOTHER $75,000 (money he won, and never got) ... I think he's on the edge.  He DID go to Amsterdam, they were talking about it on Jay Thomas's show this morning.  I just pray that he gets his life together.  I want him & Dana to get back together, and raise a huge family together!  <3

  2. Bring back Jackie!!!!

  3. I'm sure that artie will be back when cooler heads prevail. it helps that they are going to be on vacation next week. i really hope that he is back, i have loved him on the show since his first day. i have been a howard fan for well over 15 years and he has been a great addition.

  4. Artie needs to be euthanized like a baby gorilla on the fritz. He's past his prime...he's told all his stories...he's just not interesting any more

  5. Well, Artie is having a really tough time with the schedule. The problem is, he is so tired from doing so many "gig's". But if he wasn't on the show, he probably would not get so many gigs. It is a total catch 22 for him. He'll be fine, they are going on holidays next week, and he is going to Amsterdam. He'll get to blow off some steam.

  6. Howard knows how important Artie is to the show. His stories are as iconic as Billy West's impersonations and Jackie's laugh/puppet.

But business is business to the King of All Media.

Howard has a $500 million responsibility to Sirius, and he won't let anything stand in his way. Howard knows his freedom is based on his employer, and the last thing they want is a messy lawsuit. Artie said he can't control himself right on the air, defying Howard in front of all his listeners.

They will remain friends, but Artie will be suspended for at least 6 months. My gut feeling is that he is out.

  7. I think they're going to make him get some help before he's allowed to come back. That is, if he doesn't go to Amsterdam and kill himself this weekend.

I love Artie, but he really needs to get his life in order.

  8. I think he's done.  It's a shame.  He's pretty messed up. He needs to get put away and given some serious help. It's a shame.

  9. Artie hasn't been happy for a while.

He hated the hours and couldn't keep up with that and his gigs but respected Howard.  So I think he was trying to get fired!

I hope he doesn't leave the show but he seriously needs help and like Bababuey said - what happens when or if he blasts on a guest??  What then??

  10. I hope he comes back.  He has "threatened" to leave before, but he has always returned.  Yesterday's fight sounded pretty intense though.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

  11. We don't know yet. They are on vacation this week.

Robin was on The View today, and she says they don't know what will happen. I do that Artie and Teddy both went to Amsterdam with the rest of the guys. Artie sat in first class, and him and Teddy did not say anything to him yet.

Here is a link to the show where Artie freaks out on Teddy.

This is part two, but there's also a part one, three, and four.

It happens around the 3:00 mark.

    It's pretty wild!!
