Happy Independence Day to all fellow Indians.

Australia after rest will be coming to India series in October. If Australia win series, they will become 1st team to win 2 consecutive series in 20 years.I think Ponting has great chance to prove his detractors wrong that they are on decline by defeating India in their home conditions.

On other hand,Indian seniors will be itching to prove themselves. This one should be a cracker of series.

  1. its difficult to beat india in india

  2. Hopefully India can put up a good fight like they did in the Sydney test. And also hopefully this time the series can be free of controversies. There are high expectations for both teams and both have pressure on them. India should be victors in their home ground but we cannot count Australia out.

It will be a interesting series and i can't wait for it!

Happy Independance day to all my Indian and Pakistani brothers and sisters!

  3. Well .... according to form of Gangully tendulkar and dravid , i think they'll get india easily . BUT , if the *** back to their form , then no chance tht aussie can beat the indains!

  4. ashish bhatia aka mr powers  is still full of s**t.

quick oz, delete my post asap!!!

  5. Australia does not have a quality spinner, and we know what subcontinental pitches are like. And talismanic players like McGrath, Gilchrist, Langer, Martyn etc. who toured last time around will not be there this time. It is going to be an interesting battle. Lot will depend on Hayden. But Australia, as we know will be prepared for all contingencies.

Independence day greetings to all Indians!

    Jai Hind!

  6. no

  7. yes...too easy

  8. Yes Indeed, it will be a 'cracker' of series. I eagerly await it. Hopefully this time we wouldn't have to face another Sydney situation, horrible memories.

It will be very interesting to see  Ishant Sharma bowling to Matthew Hayden and Harbhajan Singh to Ricky Ponting.

I have high hopes on India winning the series. If it's god's will.

Happy Independence Day to all Indians! Feeling free is a priceless feeling, value it. Education is the key for being successful. Only educated minds can demolish the problems we face (political system, poverty, caste system etc. )

    Enjoy life..

    Kind Regards..

    Cheers.

  9. Yes i do think Australia are going to win...

They are too good for India and are only going to loose what ever strenght they did have in the team when the big 4 leave..

And this user is not Jake G either.Jake is one of my contacts,i take it it is OZ being his 'funny' self again...

  10. sorry, the last series, Australia was benefited by nagpur wicket curator , where the wicket was made bloody grassy to support Mcgrath and Gillespie , we guys are so sportive, aren't we ?

The chennai match was washed out, when India needed 200 odd runs with 10 wickets intact , so Australia won the series 2-1, it was again not a right projection of the teams !

India has always played better test cricket than Australia in last 10 years,  last to last  time when we visited Aus during waugh captaincy, we won in Adeliade, and the series was draw 1-1, now due to sydney we lost the series on records in aus, however India was the deserving winner !

i don't find Aus overpowering India on Indian tracks , when they couldn't do much in the presence of Warne, Mcgrath and Lee earlier, now the two of them have gone and premier batsmen like Gilly and Martyn also have retired !

they can't get 20 wickets on Indians tracks, however i fancy Bhajj and Kumble will get them ~

they have to eat iron, which is tough, that also not through the mouth but through the nose, which is tougher, to win India in India~

    sorry hopeless case, shutters down!

let them come, we will show them that they are only suitable for west Indies, let me tell you if they visit Sri lanka also , they will be whitewashed at this point in time, even i'm fancying england in Ashes 2009, lol ~

    hope it helps!

    god bless!

    take a star ~

  11. no sweat

  12. I would put my money on the Aussies as well,Punter's last series in India and I expect him to put his foot down and announce to the whole world he is one of the greatest batters to ever play.

India got the fab 4 to hold their middle but I think the Aussies got more to prove and I'm sure the likes of Clarkey,Huss and Symonds wouldn't let the Indian have a easy time during the series.

Aus bowling attack is probably better than the Indian line up except in the spin department but still the Aussies got the upper hand and especially if McGill plays.

Azhar and a few others sport persons of India has blatantly cheated and you have no right to act like India are saints.I honestly hope India perform well in Olympics and other sports in the future, we are proud if our neighbours can do well but you ppl act like you got no faults!

  13. Happy Independence Day.

    Yes.

  14. yes ~
