maybe just logic. considering that he entered law school in 1988, the same year that al qaeda got started, and graduated in 1991. he taught at the university of chicago law school from 1992 until 2004 when he ran for senate. from 2004 until 2008 he has been in the senate and now in 2008 is running for president. so really no time for him to be in al qaeda
