I don't think so because of the whole steroids thing even if he plays for free.

  1. maybe minor league. no one wants a slow person that hits a home run every now and then.

  2. No...

  3. no cause teams know he uses steroids and he cant run so the best chance of him going on a team is the AL.

  4. He might pull a Canseco and play in the Independent League.

  5. Only if.....

    1.  He gets signed by an AL team as a DH so that he does not have to play the outfield.

    2.  He resolves the perjury case and leaves court not guilty.

    3.  The teams finally know that they're missing a chance to add a solid bat to their lineup and add runs to the scoreboard.

    4.  MLB starts fining teams for ignoring Barry Bonds and consolidating their efforts not go get him signed for the 2008 season.

    5.  He decides to swallow his pride and take league minimum salary.

Fake fans and bandwagoners will always take the side of media types because they don't know anything about baseball.  They'll say things like "too much baggage", "is a cancer", " brings too much distraction", "disgraced baseball", "is still taking steroids", without any proof of how they got those phrases.

All players from minor league benchwarmers to major league stars have media following their every move and they follow every single celebrity as well.  Barry Bonds is a celebrity, so it's not unusual.  Look at Manny Ramirez!  He's bringing baggage and a media circus to LA, but no one's mentioning it.....

  6. I don't think he will, because no team will want to deal with all the controversy surrounding him. I don't want him on the Cardinals or any other team. I'm mad that Tony LaRussa even thought of signing the guy, and glad that Cards management talked him out of it.

  7. Since you didnt say MLB, yes. He will joing the Pro Softball League, You ever seen those Roided out guys mash 400+ ft homeruns. Those guys are ALL Bonds size

  8. He's a goner from MLB. I doubt if anyone will pick up his hefty contract plus his sullied reputation as an alleged steroid user. That's too much baggage for any team to handle. Too bad, without the steroids, he still had a chance to make it to the hall.

  9. No, even his agent says he's done!

  10. until he resolves his legal issues baseball will be far from his future

  11. um..... no.

  12. no way...a media circus would descend upon the team, and so many casual fans hate bonds that the response from them would not be positive enough to offset the hefty price a team would have to pay for a 45 year old guy who can't play the field

  13. Nope. Too much of a distraction to the team.

  14. No.

He brings the Circus to town.

    Teams don't want that.

  15. Nobody will want him BA to low

  16. Noone Want Barry Bond And if a team do Get him they just want him to get Hit or hr. To win game But the only problem is that the Press and everyone  is going to be on the team asking them question and the pressure on them
