  1. not at all, in the long run it should be faster, less arguing, and throwing the managers out of the game, and players too.

  2.   they say only a few minute and only

on home run call. that are disputed

i don,t like it leave it up to the umpire

      it,s part of the game

  3. No.  By the time the umpire gets to the replay booth, the video person in New York will have already called up the relevant video shots to play on the monitor.  In the time that it takes for the umpire to walk off the field, watch the replay(s), make the call, and walk back onto the field, they will have actually SAVED time.  The reason?  Without replay, here's what would have happened:

    -Umpire makes original call.

-Manager comes out to argue call.

-Umpires gather to discuss call, trying to coordinate what each umpire saw.  This often takes a few minutes.

    -Umpires make new call.

-Manager on losing side of argument comes out to argue new call, often in a heated manner, maybe resulting in ejection.

The replay system will take less time than that.  Umpire goes to replay booth, checks replay, and makes call.  No argument necessary.  It'll work very nicely.

Furthermore, the kinds of calls that will be used for replay happen RARELY, maybe ten times a season.  We might not actually see a single replay used for the rest of the regular season, who knows?

It will be an efficient system, and for the magnitude of home run calls, I'm glad to see they'll start getting them right.

  4. If done correctly i think Replay will work in Baseball.

  5. probably

  6. yeah maybe for a few minutes. like challenging a call in football
