Do you think Big Brown can win The Triple Crown?

I'm not the kind of person to think about this after every KY Derby. The last time I thought there would be a legitimate shot, immediately after the Derby, was with Silver Charm. If Big Brown can copy his Derby run in his next 2 races, I don't see anyone else coming close to touching him.

I'm a believer.  He barely looked winded at the end of the race!  It was amazing.  I'll cross my fingers and hope he is healthy enough to pull it off.

He ran a 2.01 and 8 from the 20th post and the only one close was the filly.I'm going to have to agree with you.With only 4 races under his belt it doesn't seem their going to burn him out either.

Big Brown ran a great race.  And with the top contender down (my condolances to Eight Belles and her associates), he'll have an even better chance to win it all.  As long as his jockey leads him well, we could be looking at the next Triple Crown winner.

Certainly no one in the Derby could get close to him, but I worry about him running 3 races in 5 weeks and facing fresh horses each time (so far no other derby horse is planning on going to the Preakness).  He'll have a huge target on his back, and some may ride to defeat him rather than to have their horse win.  But, if his feet hold up and he's as good as he looks, I think he's a got shot, especially because this years 3-year-old crop is decidedly sub-par.
