I really think hes going to do it!!!  after seeing him in both the Kentucky derby and now in the Preakness, it looks like he could very easily win at the Belmont Stakes!!!

I have been keeping track of these Triple Crown races for most of my life and I have never seen a horse like Big Brown.  I think if any horse has had a shot, he does.  The jockey didn't even have to push him today and Big Brown blew the other horses out of the water.  As far as distance, we are only talking an extra 1/4 mile over the Derby and Big Brown has run both of these races without even a sign of being tired.  Very exciting stuff!

After what he did in the Preakness, it would be foolish to bet against him.

He and Casino Drive may as well be the only 2 horses in the race . Whether Big Brown  has enough left in the tank is the question . I believe Casino Drive will win and once again deny another triple crown.

Well, there are a lot of factors that come into play. First of all, the Belmont is a whole mile and a half. We know that BB kick some butt at some shorter distances, but can he do it after a long stretch? Secondly, race horses these days have been bred more for speed and less for strength and endurance. It is a good possibility that he, or another horse, could be injured in the Belmont just due to weak legs. Thirdly, there are going to be some horses in the Belmont that weren't in the other two races, and there is a good chance that one of them could be an upset. Remember, those horses who are going to be in only the Belmont have had more rest and preparation than BB will have had. I really want BB to win, but I am not betting any $ yet. I would take a good look at the other horses before betting anything.
