Do you think Bigfoot truly exists?

I know we have no "concrete" evidence that a wild ape species exists in various regions of the world, but the possibilities are so good. And of course, how can anyone know for sure, just because we dont have hard proof. And pictures arent good enough because of the label as Fake... So what do you think? I want some good reasoning for either side.

  1. Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an alleged ape-like creature said to inhabit remote forests, mainly in the Pacific northwest region of the United States and the Canadian province of British Columbia. In northern Wisconsin, Lakota Indians know the creature by the name Chiye-tanka, a Lakota name for "Big Elder Brother." Bigfoot is sometimes described as a large, hairy bipedal hominoid, and some believe that this animal, or its close relatives, may be found around the world under different regional names, such as the Yeti of Tibet and Nepal, the Yeren of mainland China, and the Yowie of Australia.

Bigfoot is one of the more famous examples of cryptozoology, with a large ongoing debate on whether it exists or not. Many scientific experts on the matter consider the Bigfoot legend to be a combination of folklore and hoaxes. Despite its uncertain scientific status, Bigfoot is nevertheless a popular symbol.

To answer your question, no I do not believe Bigfoot exists.

  2. Native american tales of Sasquatch and what all else are not tales about apes of any kind (they had no word for ape) but are of mythological beings sometimes in the shape of humans and sometimes in the shapes of animals when there are any physical descriptions at all. There is good reason to believe they were inspired by bears which can walk on two legs when they choose to do so. I am not saying native americans mistook bears for something else but that they may have seen bears as this quasi-human/animal/spirit because it is different from other animals and yet not very much like humans. As they became more familiar with bears these stories became material to scare or instruct children and subsequent bear reports were no longer confused with them. Even reliable witnesses can make mistakes or be fooled. Most reports of bigfoot are probably just misidentification of bears. Modern americans aren't very familiar with them and can't really be sure they'd recognize one in the bush.

I just don't believe even though I would love to be wrong.

  3. no

  4. I think it is higly possible tha bigfoot, like the Loch Ness Monster, could exist. Sure we have no concrete proof, but there are so many places we, as humans, haven't explored. So yeah I'm pretty sure it's possible that there could be a "Bigfoot" creature.

However I do not believe there is a bigfoot creature in the United States as some claim. It would have been proven by now if that were true.

    :P

  5. Unlikely, there are much more believable 'mythical' creatures such as the Chupacabra, the Giant South American Eagle (forgotten its true name) and the Werewolf!

  6. i do'nt think if bigfoot existed it wouldn't be somewhere like wisconson. it's prolly be in africa somewhere people can't reach deep in the jungle.

    i'm an optimist, so i believe there's a possibility.

we still haven't explored all of the earth yet, and who knows what we might find!

  7. he exists, I saw him playing checkers with a chupacabra....
