Question:

Do you think Blanco will have an effect in WCQ against Honduras?

One of the benefits of new MLS signings and the SuperLiga in general is how it exposes me to good Mexican soccer. I doubted Cuauhtemoc Blanco's ability to play in the MLS, but he surprised everyone with his mental ability and ball control.

As a result, new Mexican coach Sven re-called Blanco for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers. Do you think he will do well (being 35 years old) in the new Mexican National team?

  1. yes

  2. Blanco might decide after Wednesday's game to just stay down in Mexico, and not go back to Chicago, since he just called the fans there "garbage."

  3. Blanco can suck my b alls, I ******** hate dat ******, he wont make any impact, all he will do is make fake fouls and cry like a little ******.

  4. He will not start and might go in as a late sub like 20 minutes in second half. he might make an assist but thats about it for the game vs hounduras

  5. yes he will have an affect and maybe play for like one half.

p.s watch out blanco for that g*y foo who kissed you last time.

  6. Yeah he definitely will have an effect.  He will most likely play one half because he has less conditioning now, but could still do the same.  He makes many great passes for Mexico and many great free kicks.  He really is a good soccer player but too much people criticize him and don't even know all he has done for Mexico.  In many of the previous world cups he gave beautiful passes.  El matador scored most of his goals from his passes.

  7. he will probably play a half, and yes Blanco will have a huge effect on the game

  8. Age is a meaningless number when players with top skills play. That being said Temoc, for me, will be the heart and soul of the selection! he is the most love player and having him on the team increases morale! Blanco will surely play his heart and soul in this up coming game. Mexico!!!

  9. He wont last the 90 minutes but maybe one good half, unless they try to kiss him

  10. samuel caballero kisses them

  11. I think he is past his prime and has little to nothing to offer to the team.

    MLS is MLS

I see this as his farewell game.

  12. Yes. His paused game and well placed balls will completely throw off the defense

  13. Yes, he is good enough

    Although he is old

    He still kicks ***

    Just watch, Blanco will own!!

  14. I think blanco will score or give an assist because he's always said that he will try his very best to help Mexico qualify to the world cup. Oh and dont be suprised if he shows off..lol

  15. He will probably play less than 45 minutes but he will definitely have an impact on thee team, not only becasue he's the only player who's league is in the middle of the season, but he will also be an example and provide experience to new players like vela and Gio.

  16. no,   and dont get me wrong i am a huge blanco fan.

but the truth is he needs a striker with blazing speed, if not he will not be able to set up the striker with those killer passes.

look at how he plays in chicago, he had chris rolf and karr up top and those guys are fast sprinters. and they got rid of chad barret because he was a slower more standard striker, he didnt fit blancos style of play in chicago.

and sven will most likely start bravo or franco and maybe even vuoso and all them dont have speed except bravo, he has some speed but not enough to blaze past the honduras.

unless he plays vela and gio up top( which he wont play gio up top) blanco will not have the 2-3 assist everyone thinks he will make.

i think he will make one great pass and thats it.

  17. Yes, as long as nobody tries to kiss him....

  18. He should do well. It's not like Mexico has had many great scorers of late.
