He has great numbers and was defensive player of the year. I also think he is big enough to play in the NFL and he also played at a big time school (Ohio State). I'm just scratching my head to wonder why no NFL teams have picked him up.

  1. yes

  2. He should definitley try to get his name into the NFL picture.

  3. The fact that he went to Ohio State does not guarantee that he would make an NFL team. There are thousands of players on powerhouse teams at Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Florida, Texas, Nebraska, etc., who don't make it in the NFL. The fact that Johnson went to Ohio State, a school that gets major exposure here in the U.S., and isn't already on an NFL team should tell you that he doesn't have NFL talent, just like Ricky Ray, who is the best QB in the CFL, but couldn't cut it here. With NFL defensive ends and tackles being considered light at 270 pounds, and guys over 300 pounds running the 40 in 4.6, you'll pardon NFL teams if they aren't banging down the doors of slow, 265-pound, thirty year-old Canadians.

  4. He could try, maybe there is a contract thing, he needs to be in his option year to try out.
