Question:

Do you think Brett Favre has damaged his legacy

With all of his retiring and un-retiring, has Favre hurt what should have been a solid football legacy? After all, he's been reduced to a joke for late night television.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks!

  1. i cant believe hes back. once he retired he should have stayed retired...now he just looks like someone who cant make up his mind.

personally i dont like favre and now i dont like him even more...

  2. Good point about his being reduced to a late night joke. People will think of this retirement c**p more than his abilities on the field.

  3. no, I feel Farve just wants to continue his legacy and prove he can be an asset to another team.  Which will improve his legacy

  4. Yes. I think he's starting to look like a phony, self centered spoiled kid. I bet he is stunned that the Packwers management didn't roll over for him.

  5. somewhat, hes playing around with the NFL, his teamates, and the FANS, hes acting like a little girl.

  6. He did as much damage as the details of his diva attitude have come out.  Trying to strong arm the Green Bay Packer management into bringing in Randy Moss as an example.  If he winds up on another team, he either wins or he'll look like a doofus.

  7. No, Michael Jordan did not and he did it twice.

  8. Little bit.

  9. Yes very much so for instance a greedy jerk.

  10. In the short term, I believe so. The long term will be determined on what happens with the new club...if he lasts training camp or the season or two seasons or if he retires in a day, few weeks, year or two years. A lot of variables remain in play.

  11. YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. No.

  13. i would of asked did the packers managment  gain with there egos that made the problem now they have to deal with it

  14. I do believe that this has hurt him.  First impressions as important as they are...it is always tho what someone does last that people really remember.  So even tho he has had a stellar carreer and is a fantastic talent....he now looks like a man that doesnt know his own mind and an ego larger than life.  Had this situation been handled with some class, it would have been alot different perception wise.

  15. In the sports world there is a saying "A player is only as good as his last game."..in Brett's case it fits. Think about other atheletes who have gone astray..they have great records..in the HOF...people do remember the on field stats but many times it is their "last game"off the field

that gets remembered as their legecy. I wonder how much in charge he will want to be on his new team...
