Favre should have stayed retired or not have retired at all.  He needs to be a man of his words.  Maybe he still wanted to play and felt that he can play at a high level but the road he took to come back into the NFL left a lot of bridges burned and left a lot of so called "Packer fans" fans booing the wrong QB.  He definitely should have stayed retired because the wake of his selfish actions stretch further than the Packers Organization.

No way Favre has every right not to stay retire, really i don see anything wrong, with a player wanting to play the game of football.. something he loves that much. Favre tired to stay retire but his friends and family,  kept pushing him to return to the game he loves

I WISH he would retire.  I'm sick of hearing about him.  

All of last year it was Brett this and Brett that.  I don't think I can take another year of that!  I should skip the entire season this year and pick it up again in the fall of 2009.  (I won't, but I should.)

That being said, as long as he still has a love for the game and as long as he can still contribute, I suppose that's a valid reason to continue.
