It happens to a lot of young women these days but since Sarah Palin represents the religious right do you think she might be seen as a hypocrite to many voters?

  1. No.  People make mistakes.  People with high moral values often get accused of hypocrisy when they fall from perfect, but it's easy to be morally perfect when you think anything goes.

  2. No I dont think it will it will hurt Obama more b/c they will not be paying attion to McCain who is the one running for president most people dont care about who the vp is that happens with alot of young women now they need to talk about the issue's not over something no one will care about

  3. No- you're talking about a flock of blind sheep here, and one of the things they won't be able to see is the blatant hypocrisy when it comes to issues of religion and such. I don't think they'll be the least bit bothered by it. It really shouldn't matter anyway, since it's a personal issue that has nothing to do with that woman's campaign, and child birth is really the most natural thing in the world (mind you, children were being born long before the advent of Jesus Christ and the institution of "marriage")- but they'll catch a lot of flack about it because republicans are always touting family values and high morals, when in fact most of them don't believe in this themselves. They're not Christians- they only want YOU to be!

  4. Honestly, I would say no.  I can't imagine the religious right choosing a "secret Muslim", pro-abortion candidate over a white, pro-life, anti-g*y marraige in pretty much any scenario - I think that, to the religious right, Palin is still the clear lesser of two evils.

  5. It should be seen as hypocritical but people will latch onto the few facts they obsess over and not see the overall situation. It is true that these things happen to everyone but it is also true that "Bristol" will need her mother as will her baby brother. I believe mom needs to be in Alaska with her five children and not running for Vice President as the token Conservative, ERA, female candidate.

  6. i think it will show the dems as the vulgar hate-full anti-family people that they are.

  7. I think they'll be more damaged by the whole idea of her allegedly not supporting the Bridge to nowhere but she supported it while trying to become the Alaskan governor. Kind of like a flip flop on ideas. People attacked Kerry for this same thing and now Palin will be hit on this issue

  8. Social conservatives will say she should have been with her daughter. This won't help at all.

  9. Maybe a little bit, but not enough to make people vote for Obama. I think McCain has a good chance of winning even with his VP pick.

  10. There are so many things on her right now that it's definetly going to make a difference, especially because people are getting the first impression on her.

    ie.

-Ethics investigation regarding shady firing of an official who didn't do what Palin wanted

-The ironic fact that Palin is a supporter of absistence-only s*x education and her 17-year old daughter is pregnant

-She has two very young kids, the other diagnosed with Down's syndrom. On top of that she also has the 17-year old daughter who is pregnant. One would think that she should be there for her family (even if she has a great husband) instead of running for the second-highest ranking job in the country which will require a vigorous schedule.

  11. The Republican platform has had its head in the sand for way too long when it comes to s*x education. We need to educate our youth about birth control.

Let's face it, where you have males and females, you're going to have s*x! It's one thing the human species does really well.

So, why not quit condemning the girl for being  "naughty," and start concentrating your efforts on helping our children prepare for the responsibilities that come with s*x?

Unfortunately Mr. and Ms. Palin either did not prepare their daughter or she ignored them. Now they will have a new life to care for who will grow up without a daddy.

Let's talk to and educate our precious youth - - - both democrat and republican youth!

  12. I think it already has...This really was a bad time for Sarah Palin to think of running with Senator McCain....It should have been made plain from the very first time the Palin family showed up that the daughter was indeed pregnant....By not disclosing it right away, it has led to inuendo and thoughts of cover-up.

  13. It won't help their campaign, but the likes of it hurting them are slim to none.

However, it will probably bring up the issue of s*x-ed, in which Democrats will most likely win that debate.

  14. No, because the fact that the baby is still alive rather than ground up at an abortion clinic demonstrates that life and values are more important than avoiding political scandal.
