Do you think Candace Parker could play for the Lakers?

Not as a starter or anything, that would be absurd. But, as the 11th or 12th (wo)man off the bench. The woman has proven she is pretty tough, and could contribute some much needed toughness to the roster. I'm just sayin.

She is already living in LA, so logistics shouldn't be a problem.

No, I don't think so. She's only 6'4, and at 6'4 she's have to play shooting guard. She's nowhere near fast enough to play the point guard, barely fast enough to play the two, and even then she'd be undersized. And her athleticism stands out in the WNBA but in the WNBA she would be below average athletically. So while it deserves a look, she should just stick to dominating the WNBA for now.

a woman in the nba would be odd, no offense. candice would have to grind up on her opponents and use her body to defend, and at the same time, the guy that's being defended would enjoy it. but if we take that off our heads, i think she would be pretty good as 7th woman or 8th in the Lakers.

No, nobody in the NBA would want to play against/with a woman, it feels awkward and stuff. She will get dominated in the NBA, in other words, the NBA would chew her up and spit her out within seconds.
