  1. No, he really wants to be known as Mr. Ocho Cinco.  It was a life long dream that start when he was 5 years old.:)

  2. That's the only reason he does anything.

He wants to get all cocky and do the "ocho cinco" thing, but with his tore up shoulder he won't amount to c**p this year.

TJ Hou. will out play him and blow him out of the water stat wise this season.

I wonder if he brought his Hall of Fame jacket to the opening game this year like he did last year when he didn't do squat.

  3. Probably.  I'd like to think that he did it for some personal reason that means a lot to him.  But I have a feeling it's for attention.  If so, he got what he's looking for - we're all talking about him.

Plus, this news article basically has him telling us he dosen't have a reason and that's it for fun.

"It's something I don't think anyone has ever done before," he told the team's Web site. "Have I ever had a reason for why I do what I do? I'm having fun."

Two years ago, Johnson gave himself the moniker - a reference in Spanish to his No. 85 - and put it on the back of his uniform before a game. Quarterback Carson Palmer ripped it off before the kickoff. After the season, coach Marvin Lewis - who dislikes Johnson's attention-getting stunts - referred to the receiver as "Ocho Psycho."
