Do you think Chelsea are harsh??

i know this was a while ago but sacking Avram Grant after 1 season because he didnt bring any trophies?? come on!! it takes time, Arsene Wenger hasn't bin sacked and he has had quite a few trophy less seasons!! = no offence to any arsenal supporters!!

Yes it was very harsh sacking Grant after not even one season, but to be honest it looked like he was only a stop gap when he was appointed. Abrahamovich probably new he couldn't get his man until this season, so he appointed Grant for a year.He must realize though that all the chopping and changing is not good for the team, that's why the major trophies have eluded Chelsea for the last few seasons.

Yep I agree, He did what even 'the special one' couldn't do, take them to A CL final yet still he was sacked!

When you spend the money Chelsea do then you want the best can you say Grant was the best i don't think so

when you consider how much money has been spent, a trophyless season for Chelsea is counted as a disaster.

Arsene Wenger won't be sacked because he is doing the right job. In 5-10 years when Man United and Chelsea become Bankrupt thanks to to outrageous debts, there will only be onbe dominant force in English football. Until then, we wait...

That's how football is now-a-days.  Personally, I thought Avram Grant was a very good (but very miserable!) manager, considering where they were when he took over and was playing with another manager (Mourinho)'s squad.

Remember, Arsenal hadn't come close to winning the Premier League (not to be mistaken with the old Division 1) before Wenger took over.  Yes they won some cups in the early 90's, but Wenger made Arsenal a Championship winning team, and he doesn't have the spending power of Chelsea or Man Utd.
