Probably not, but this Olympics was very successful and there was a lot of trepidation going in. With the splendid job China did, there is no reason for people to question their hosting it again. As Aileen points out, there are many great metropolitan areas bidding for it, so, no, not too very soon will China host it. But never again will people worry about it, either.

I'm sure they are. I don't see why not. Its amazing for the economy and this time around they will be veterans. They did a great job this year in Beijing...Even the opening ceremony will be tough to beat. They should definitely go for it and depending on what the other cities offer they could very well get it.
