Do you think Coach K should've won a medal?

it's pretty sad actually, he was the architect of this team, but dosen't get a medal, let alone stand on the podium with the team.

Still that doesn't take away the fact that he brought USA back to number 1, Larry Brown couldn't do it, George Karl couldn't do it. But coach K did it.

Larry Brown is a great coach.  Coach K did a great job, but his players made a 3 year commitment not a 3 month one like the 2004 team.

No, he did a great job, but the Olympics is about the Athletes, I don't think any other coach in any other sport gets a medal if their athlete or team wins, he gets the satisfaction of leading his team to victory and seeing his guys succeed which is the ultimate satisfaction in coaching.

He should have, but I don't feel sad for him. He is happy. He knew he won't get one. He helped USA.

He gets a million dollar shoe contract. His recruits at Duke don't get any of it. That makes it even.

I think Coach K was great, but he doesn't deserve a gold medal. Michael Phelps' coach didn't get a medal. Neither did any other coaches.
