what action do you think they should take? I think they should take a lot of actions but they don't such as the weak dollar, and raise the min wage for those who get paid min wage because they choose not to do that but rather raise their pay I don't get paid min wage but whats far is fair. a lot could be done but it wont happen which is sad

What rock have you been hiding under?  Congress always takes off the month of August.

And if you think there's anything Congress could do in that four weeks to affect gas prices, well, I'll have to refer you back to that rock.

Maybe, just maybe, if they were to create a *real* domestic energy policy, we might wean ourselves from foreign oil in the next decade...but don't count on that happening.  Democratic politicians do not care about high energy prices and the Republicans are too incompetant to do anything about it.
