  1. Yes, Ms. Love has been a defining force in todays society in which women believe it is okay to prance around high on crack in staunch and rags, and, drive your masculine counterpart to suicide!  I think we all find her to be of some entertainment value!  Like Nicole Ritchie, sifting ravenously through the McDonald's trash receptacle.

  2. Her biggest influence is making Yoko Ono seem sane.

  3. No, but her husband and his band were a definite influence on the music scene.  Along with other bands they helped create and define the grunge rock.

  4. h**l No!!!

             R.I.P Kurt!

  5. Courtney Love's big influence in the 1990s was popularizing some of the themes of the riot grrl movement of the 1980s/early 1990s through her band, Hole. In that respect, I guess she had some influence; however, all of the ideas she shared/drew on in her music were copies from Kathleen Hanna and Bikini Kill.

If nothing else, I think she is an interesting figure.  Her early music with Hole was pretty great.  I haven't heard her solo stuff though so who knows.

  6. in fashion i think, hehehe-- but music? havent heard her songs actually--so influence is far off.

  7. Who in the h**l is Courtney Love?  A daytime soap star or something?  She sings?!

  8. How in the name of God could you possibly put Courtney Love in the same category as say Elvis, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Paul Williams and so many others who have significantly influenced pop/rock music?
