He might meditate, but his "powers" have nothing to do with that. He is an illusionist and admits as much. Illusionists use tricks (including camera tricks), not meditation, to accomplish their illusions.

No.   He's great though.  Very creative and inventive.   Its illusion my friend.   And what makes it even greater is that he gets people to believe he meditated to gain "powers."

Some of the best magic, illusion, or whatever people wish to call it has come from that program.

He's an illusionist, nothing more. Some of his abilities are possible on a smaller scale, though I doubt you'd see anyone on television flaunting them off anytime soon because they would probably be abducted by the government and used for military purposes.

Criss Angel is an illusionist. If you took him aside and asked him offstage he would most likely tell you that its all illusions. All the great illusionists put on a stage show claiming mystic powers. Its for drama and excitement. They want for a few hours for thier audience to believe such things are possible. But illusionists are the worst enemy for new agers, because they are the ones who have exposed things like telekinesis and psychic abilities as bunch of bunk performed by cheap con-artists.
