They will keep him as long as daddy pays the bills. BUT will he stay with them is the real question. If he gets tired of DEI's drama he could easily take himself and his sponsorship $$$ to Yates, Petty, or any of the other teams who are in desperate need of sponsorship next year. So he might be a major player in silly season when it gets to be crunch time for 2009. I would love to see him in a second ride at Robby Gordon Motorsports....Menard's already helps Robby in a on again off again sponsorship role....think he and Robby would make a great team. Just an opinion.

what other rides could his daddy buy?  wood bros?  bdr?  robby gordon racing?  bam?  red bull?  furniture row?  all star?  maybe stewart-haas in 2010, but I doubt Tony would want to replace that many cars.  DEI seems like the best fit for the forseeable future.

theresa wasn't sure but the rest of us owners got together and said we didn't want him, no matter who his dad was and how much sponsor money he had. but his dad has some serious juice and we had to put him somewhere. theresa drew the short straw AGAIN. boy is she easy to fool - just like when she drew short straw on the junior thing last year - rick got her good. of course, she got him back with the whole "trade kyle for junior instead of casey" thing. she can be vindictive and she's making rick pay. ahhhh, wouldn't you like to be be an owner like me and be privy to all this info...

John and Paul could buy any team they want.  With $8 billion, you could do anything.  Paul should buy DEI and turn it into Team Menard.  Theresa couldn't run a business like a race team to save her life.
