  2. I think it sounds hilarious!!  Definitely do aviator glasses--if the groom could find an old flight jacket, that would even be better!  You'll get some raised eyebrows, but if that's what you want to do, then have a ball!  

    I've been married 20 years, and I've learned you can't take yourself too seriously.  Laughter goes a long, LONG way in a good marriage, and it sounds like you guys are off to the right start!  Good luck to you both!

    edit:  This does go without saying that the bride best be in on this one--if not, it could backfire in a big way.  Sleeping on the sofa is not how most guys envision spending their honeymoon....

  5. I think it sounds really fun. If both bride and groom are down with it, I say go for it! My husband and I chose Thunderstruck by AC/DC as our entrance song; its fun not be the norm.

  7. Oddly enough, I have actually seen this before. ANd, yes, the bride & groom did wear the sunglasses (& the groom "popped" the collar of his tux). It was really funny, so, go for it!
