Do you think Dara Torres is underrated?

Maybe a bit - people can get intimidated but she's just doin her thing - why not go for it when ya still got it!

She's not underrated, she's just overshadowed by Michael Phelps (like pretty much all the other athletes in the Olympics, especially the other American swimmers). I think she's a great person too, telling the officials and all the other swimmers to wait for the girl whose suit ripped right before the 50m semifinals. Just missing the gold be 0.01 of second kills me; silver is good, but getting the gold would have been such a good story!

I watched her go from one swimming event silver medal, straight into another, and could not believe her stamina. She is awesome!

She is the business too. She is a friends baby momma too.lol. I her and have been following her competitions as well as I can. Kudos to Semper Fi for wanting to learn. Yeah.

I don't know...I think everyone was pretty impressed with her and the fact that she is still in excellent shape and among the best despite her age.  She is an excellent role model for the more mature athlete.
