Do you think East and west will be as competitive?

the west was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy better than the east last season but i notice how many good players there are in the east like pistins celtics cavs and now philly. I still like the suns but do you guys think the west will still be better than the east?

The west will still be the better conference b/c u got spurs, lakers, mavs, suns, and hornets who all have good shoots at making a run for a championship. also the trail blazers may have a run. the east only has about two teams that could really compete with a teams that could make a run- celtics and pistons.

h**l yeaaahh dude.  Even though west was more solid from top to bottom.  East cost was rockin #1 and #2 best records in the NBA last year with the Celtics and Pistonies.  My crystal ball see a stronger Bulls team, Heat, and Hawks.

Cavs are stilll going to suck. LeBron is acting like he already plays for Brooklyn even though he has 2 years left. The players are all getting old and the decent player is Daniel Gibson. The West are competitive while the East are dominant. Celtics and Pistons will already pound on the other teams no doubt but in the West, anything can happen.

How could the west have been better than the eats, if the east took the NBA title, the east is getting better but the west still has bigger players, i think the west will be just as competive as last season will all 8 teams to qualify for the playoffs had at least 50 or more wins, that meant not even 50 wins was enough to get into the playoffs.

The eats have improved with the Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Cavs who have improed there bench during the off-season, Orlando Magic are back as playoff contenders.

The miami heat could surprise many, alog with dwayne wad and shawn Marion, the toronto raptors have uped there level along with the the additon of jermaine o'neal, charlotte bobcats  got larry brown(great mentor)  should help get this talented bobcats team back on track.

Yes the east will be competetive but not as much as the west will be.

The western conference is still the stronger conference by FAR.  you have the lakers, hornets, mavs, spurs, suns, rockets, warriors, jazz, blazers, clippers, nuggets all competing for playoff spots.  the western teams are better as a group than their eastern counterparts, but the east still has the celtics (and to a lesser and lesser extent the pistons).

the east still has great teams in the celtics, pistons, magic, philly, and wizards who i see as the only teams currently able to even challenge the western conference champion.  people need to get over the cavs.  they have ONE player who can carry them, lebron, but past him, they don't have a chance of beating the upper tier teams.

competitiveness will always exist on both sides of the coast simply to make the playoffs.  i've already mentioned the western racers, but in the east you still have the cavs, hawks, heat, nets, bucks (yes, they got better this offseason) vying for the remaining few playoff spots (and will lose against the more experienced and stronger 1-4 seeds)

Def. the West will stay good for at least another couple of years, because of the fact that the West has many more superstars than the East.
