Mind you there is that little team from Australia in the way to get through yet. It will be a tough game but if Johnny and Co are on form who knows?

  1. NO, THE POMS ARE A SORRY PATHETIC BUNCH OF LOSERS ! GO WALLABIES !

  2. If we do I will tattoo a pic of the trophy on my willy end!!

We will be going home this weekend, Im just happy that we reached the quarters and didnt make a complete show of ourselves. After the last four years I reckon everyone was betting on us being out by now.

  3. Only the slimmest of chances and thats only because "Nothing is Impossible".  If things were impossible, then I would say NO.

They have to beat Australia... nothing they have done this year suggests that's even possible.  Next they have to beat NZ or France.  Again, highly unlikely.  THEN they'd probably need to go through South Africa... yet again.... not likely.  Each step is HIGHLY unlikely but when you put them one after another and look at the whole picture, I'd say it is as close to impossible as is possible.

  4. Unlikely though England is quite good but they are no match for All Blacks and the Wallabies, Not forgetting Springboks

  5. Well............

    Based on recent success..............

Weighing in the Johnny Wilkinson Factor,

With the current strength of the Wallabies,

and the Worlds best team the All Blacks,

    and then the Springboks.................

    well NO!!!!!!!!!

  6. Winning one of the big south team, why not, in a good day, but the three of them in a raw, the probability is very close to zero...

Still let's see how they play Australia. The Wallabies were not convincing against Canada...

  7. they'd have to first beat France, which could be possible, then Argentina, which could be possible, then they'd have to beat South Africa, highly unlikely, then they'd have to beat Aussie, which is just dreaming, and if they win all that they still have to face the All Blacks who rule! So, I doubt it.

  8. More hope of me having an  invitation to the popes wedding!!!!!!!!!!

  9. maybe

  10. I know.... No.

I have explanations and a pluthra of reasons in my head..... but I keep coming back to the word - No.

I suspect for them to retain the Cup the process would involve (hypothetically of course)  18 drop goals against Australia, 25 drop goals against NZ & 22 drop goals against South Africa courtesy of Jonny Wilkinson.  I fear he's the single person who can win it for England these days.

    Poor bugger.

  11. Not a chance in this year, even in the very unlikely event they beat Australia,  New Zealand will tear them a new ********.

  12. Ashton has had neither the time nor enough quality to pick from for England to mount a credible challenge.Undoubtly they have improved since the USa and SA games but not enough to beat the Wallabies this time.My guess is they will concede 30 points plus this weekend, but even if they did raise there game and managed to beat Aus ,they would have to face NZ (prob) in the semis.

    In other words No

  13. I dunt think so. Chances are All Blacks or the Wallabies shall win the cup.

  14. in your dreams!

  15. Shouldn't this question be under "Jokes and Riddles"?

  16. Probably not the strong favorite in my opinion is NZ of course and the only team who can probably take them would be maybe France or Australia

  17. NZ will win it..

    so good

  18. no no no

  19. Nope i dont think england will retain the RWC however they make the semis!! I think they know how to win the games that count as they managed to put Tonga away i think they will do the same with the Aussies! World cup final rematch ...... cant wait! But i doubt they will have the strike power to beat NZ or south africa.

  20. No way

  21. Nah sorry mate...even if (Big IF) england beat Oz, they will eventually have to face the ABs.....lol so no way...GO All Blacks :)

  22. Not as long as I have a hole in my A8rse and I'm just dying for a big dump right now so I hope it's still there.

I'm English but have you seen the SA, Aus and NZ teams? Each of their 3rd XVs would pan our hides right now.  I feel sorry for Ashton, he's back in the 80's in terms of raw materials to deal with. I just hope that he doesn't take the heat alone, the whole RFU need to wake up and smell the coffee.

  23. Um...no.  There are two teams in the world cup who are most likely to take the cup.  They are also the only two  top teams with a realistic chance of

beating the other.  With that being said, Springboks and NZ will give us a final to remember with a fast hard hitting match resulting in a close win for the Boks.
